After an even 22-22 opening period, Manchester broke clear with a 15-2 start to the second for their largest lead of the game.
The visitors battled to reduce the deficit to seven at the half before continuing their momentum with an 8-0 start to the third quarter to take the lead.
Giants restored their advantage and would lead 69-64 before five points from Raheem May-Thompson sparked an 11-0 run for Cheshire as they stormed to victory.
Jerelle Okoro top scored with 21 points for the Giants as they head into the final weekend with two games still to play.
Earl Brown led the way for the Nix with a game-high of 24 points.
Coach Yorick Williams said: "It was a familiar story for us. We played well for three quarters but we couldn't go the whole distance.
"It's been the story of the season for us really and it's frustrating."
