Rocks 92-53 Giants

After three good performances on the bounce, coach Byrne will be disappointed with this one. It wasn’t a terrible start for the Giants, losing the first quarter 26-17, and going in at the half 47-33. The Rocks were in control, but by no means out of sight. The wheels fell off in the second half though with the Giants only managing to put up 6 points in the third and just reaching 20 for the half by the end of the game.

The stat lines tell the story, poor shooting from 2pt range (32%)and 3pt range (21%), out rebounded by the Rocks (41-32) and gave away too many turnovers (18).

The Emirates arena has not been a happy hunting ground for the Giants over the years, so Giants’ fans will be hoping that this is just a blip as they look to resurrect their season after recent good performances.

Edu Arqués was the only bright spot for the Giants on the evening, posting a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds.
