A disastrous third quarter where they were outscored by the visitors 16 points to 31 left them with a mountain to climb in the final quarter. The Sharks ran out 88-70 winners despite a rally from the Giants. 21 turnovers will be an unacceptable stat to Coach Byrne, something the team will have to work on going forwards.

Del’vin Dickerson posted a game high 25 points for the Giants, sinking 8 of his 15 field goals and going a perfect 5/5 from the line.

A five point lead by the Phoenix with 3:40 remaining in the game couldn’t be surmounted, and two big shots by Parker Cartwright-Jackson and Ben Mockford kept the Giants at bay.

Lativan duo Ronalds Elksnis and Ingus Bankevics were productive off the bench chipping in 13 points/6 rebounds and 17 points in 20 mins and 17 mins respectively. Del’vin Dickerson again led the scoring for the Giants.
