Giants 76-79 Wolves

A highly entertaining game at George H Carnall ended with a narrow Wolves victory. The still-depleted Giants made a valiant effort in front of a bumper crowd. James Jones rolled back the years with a virtuoso performance at point guard scoring 16 points and dishing out 16 assists. David Ulph grabbed himself 13 rebounds, again showing his ability to do the dirty work needed by the team. Yorrick Williams returned to the BBL for his 24th season and made a great defensive contribution, grabbing himself 10 points in the process.

Good three point shooting 10/24 (41%) and rebounding (48) were the high points for the Giants, although the 15 turnovers compared to Worcester’s 6 shows were this game probably got away from Manchester
