THE Giants celebrated the first BBL night in their new home at the Trafford Sportsdome with a stunning win over old rivals Sheffield Sharks.

The visitors held a 32-30 lead going into the second half and 50-46 going into the fourth quarter but the Giants showed true grit to hit back for the victory.

Stefan Gill led the Giants’ scoring with a tireless 24-point display while fellow guard Callum Jones (13, 6 assists) and Connor Murtagh marked his home Giants debut with an all-action 12-point seven-rebound performance.
