Rejoining the Manchester Giants for the 2022/23 season is the teams all time leading point scorer, Callum Jones.

The experienced guard is returning for his second consecutive season at the National Basketball Performance Centre after coming off the bench all of last season.

The season prior saw Jones contribute to the team on the court as well as provide and contribute off court too towards the overall team dynamic.  Callum Jones is a cult hero among Giants fans as he has 225 appearances for the Giants since 2012. As well as holding the record for most points as a Manchester Giant, he also holds the record for total assists with 908.

Giants Head Coach Vince Macaulay is looking forward to the prospect of working with the veteran guard Jones as he said: “It couldn’t be Giants without Callum Jones and delighted that we can enable Callum have a decade in this league what a tremendous achievement for him and his family I think not only that it brings us a lot of level headedness a lot of experience in what is really a very new team”.

Callum Jones is equally looking forward to his 10th season as a Giant as he said:  “I’m very happy to be back for my 10th year at the club and grateful to Vince for the opportunity. I’m looking forward to supporting this very talented group any way I can and us having a big season!”.
