Willie Clayton has been named in the BBL All Star 5 for week five after his astonishing performance at Surrey on Sunday.

The big American scored a massive 23 points, as well as collecting an amazing 25 rebounds to help the Giants to a first win the BBL Cup since the club was re-formed in 2012.

Team mates Mike McCall Jr and Callum Jones also appear on the bench in the selection from the BBL this weekend.

Five teams picked up victories in week 5 of the 2018-19 season and each of those sides has one representative in the latest All-Star Five lineup.

Josh Wilcher (Plymouth Raiders)

The Raiders had a number of standout displays in their win over Bristol Flyers with Wilcher  the best performing guard of the weekend after putting up 13 points, six rebounds and nine assists to help his side advance.

Bouna Ndiaye (Radisson RED Glasgow Rocks)

The Norwegian international is the first Rocks player to make the lineup this season after scoring 26 points in just their second league victory. Ndiaye went 11 of 15 from the field and also added seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and a block in a convincing home success.

Dii’jon Allen-Jordan (Cheshire Phoenix)

A fifth season appearance for a Cheshire player as Allen-Jordan secured his second with a fine all-round display for the reigning Cup champions. The American netted 23 points and added six rebounds, six assists and six steals to help his side defeat DBL Sharks Sheffield.

Brandon Peel (London Lions)

Peel makes a return to the lineup after an impressive double-double in a league win against Cheshire last Wednesday. He hit key shots at crucial times, finishing 3 of 3 from 3-point range in a 22-point performance, whilst adding 13 rebounds for the 5-1 Lions.

Willie Clayton (Manchester Giants)

A huge performance from Clayton to power the Giants into their first BBL Cup Quarter-Final since their re-form in 2012. The American collected a colossal 25 rebounds including nine on the offensive end, to go with 23 points as well as adding three blocks in a road triumph in Surrey.
