Five Manchester Giants have been chosen for a provisional England Select squad to face Ireland in the New Year.
David Aliu, James Jones, David Watts, Stefan Gill and Rob Marsden are part of coach Paul James’ set-up for the exhibition game that will provide the curtain-raiser to the BBL Cup Final at the NIA, Birmingham on January 12.
Former Giants Devan Bailey and Ben Eaves are also in the group.
