It’s the first game of the new season and to mark the occasion, the respective Lord Mayors of Manchester and Trafford will be guests of honours at the game.

Anyone wishing to volunteer for the Giants this season should arrive at 1pm for a team meeting.

Exclusive season ticket holder event

If you have purchased a 2018/19 season ticket – still available to buy online here – you can arrive from 3pm to meet and greet the new players, as well as reserve your chosen seat for the season.For those who haven’t yet purchased season tickets, you can also pay on the day (via card or cash). Season ticket packs will also be distributed on the day.

It is the first chance to see Danny Byrne’s new look roster as they take on USA Select. The Giants will be playing in our back-up kit from last season, and so numbers may not match their chosen vest numbers for the season.

David Kadiri made his debut for the Giants having arrived in the country at 5am from the USA on the day of the game.

Tickets

Tickets are still available to be purchased online until midnight on Saturday. On the day, all you need to do is bring your email confirmation (either printed or show on phone) and you will be cross-referenced with our ticket list.

You will be able to pay cash on the day, though tickets are subject to a £2 increase.

Programme

This season, we will be producing monthly matchday programmes. The first issue will cover this game, plus the home games against Manchester Magic and London City Royals. Available for £2 from the ticket and merchandise desks. Don’t forget to get those autographs at the end of the game!

Merchandise

A selected range of merchandise will be available.

Pre-game coaching

For this game, pre-game coaching will start at 3pm. For those booked on, please arrive in appropriate clothing before that time. Parents will be able to supervise. Be aware you will need to have purchased a separate adult ticket to stay for the game.
