And player-coach Yorick Williams is in determined mood.

The Giants went down to table-topping Leicester Riders last weekend – the latest defeat in a testing run.

But after witnessing a second consecutive sell-out crowd back his team, Williams said: “What am I going to do? Quit?

“I’m not going to do that. I’m going to stand by my guys and work to make it better.”

The Giants will have to do it without Mike Creppy and Barry Webster, while a late call will be made on the fitness of forward Richard Bell, whose nose was broken against the Riders.

Creppy left the club this week and Webster is ruled out – possibly for the remainder of the season – with a recurrence of a back injury.
