Martaveous McKnight is back!

Agent 0 is once again gracing the NBPC.

After leaving earlier this year for personal reasons, Martvaeous Mcknight is bringing his talents back to Manchester which will surely delight the Giants faithful.

The Missouri Maverick makes his empathetic return to the British Basketball League after leaving in early January of 2022. Before his departure, the former Delaware Blue Coat was averaging 13 points on 39% from the field and 41% from downtown in the Championship.

The former Arkansas Pines Bluff star played some of his best basketball during the Giants spectacular BBL Cup run this season where he averaged 16.4 points per cup game on 48% from the field 35% from three and 75% from the free throw line. In a game against the Glasgow Rocks, Agent 0 put up his best performance in a Giants jersey with a staggering 27 points on 10-19 shooting.

The high volume scorer also on this day added 5 rebounds and a pair of blocks too, showcasing his defensive abilities.A valued member of the Giants roster and a fan favourite too, It will be an empathic return for the former 2018 Southwestern Athletic Conference Player of the Year.

Martaveous added “I am excited to be back here in Manchester. It was difficult for me to be away from the team, the fans and the city! These guys(the team) are like my brothers and we have unfinished business. I really appreciate coach and Jamie for allowing me to return for the remainder of the season! I’m ready to get back to work!!”

“We are delighted that Martaveous has been able to return. At the time of him taking his break we were all disappointed that he wouldn’t be able to stay with us. His character off the floor and his play on the floor has been a big loss for us during this time. So we are delighted to have him back with our group and hopefully he can help us finish the season strongly" said Head Coach Lloyd Gardner

We at the Manchester Giants cannot wait for Martaveous to join us once again and look forward to seeing him back out on the court with the rest of the Giants.
