Vlatko Granic has earned his first BBL All Star 5 recognition of the season, being named on the bench for week 7.

The big Croatian registered a double-double in vain as the Giants went down to Plymouth Raiders at the weekend.

He scored 22 points to lead the team in scoring, and also grabbed 10 rebounds and two blocks.

Team-mate Willie Clayton also recorded another double-double, 11 points and 11 rebounds in a tough loss.

The Giants are on the road again this Sunday when they travel to Cheshire Phoenix for the BBL Cup quarter-finals.

This week’s lineup features a quartet of stars making their third appearances of the season, and you can also check this review of FanDuel sports.

Josh Wilcher (Plymouth Raiders)

The first of four players to make a third appearance in the lineup this season after Wilcher helped lead Plymouth to another home victory on Sunday. He put up a joint team-high 24 points and handed out nine assists for the second straight game in a convincing win.

Jeremy Smith (Esh Group Eagles Newcastle)

Smith makes his season debut in the lineup after pouring in 27 points in 25 minutes of action with 10 of 13 shooting from the field. The American, who joined after the season opener, also weighed in with five rebounds and two assists to help the Eagles to victory.
