Manchester Giants v Glasgow Rocks
Where: George H Carnall, Kingsway Park, Urmston, M41 7FJ
When: Thursday, March 28, tip-off 7.30pm
What: BBL Championship
News
The Giants prepare for a rare Thursday night home game with coach Danny Byrne demanding an improved output.
His team fell to their first Championship defeat at George H Carnall on Sunday and in doing so slipped out of the Play-off places.
There is still plenty to play for though, with only six points separating fourth and tenth in the BBL standings.
Glasgow have proved the Giants’ bogey team this season, beating Byrne’s men twice in the league and in both legs of the BBL Cup semi-final.
They are in eighth after beating leaders London Lions on Sunday. Giants are ninth.

What the coach says
Danny Byrne: “The two losses last weekend were a disappointment. We didn’t show enough fight and togetherness and went away from the things that have got us success this season.
“The league is very tight and we have to win a number of games between now and the end of the season to have a chance of making the Play-offs.”
