THE Giants head into the final weekend of the regular season with a massive double-header and everything to play for.

Jeff Jones and his men are in equal seventh place and looking to seal a play-off place with a tough trip to Sheffield on Friday before London Lions visit Wright Robinson on Sunday (5.30pm).

Jones feels last Sunday’s vital victory against Plymouth Raiders demonstrated his team’s development this season but they must find another level when the face the Sharks, who triumphed over Worcester on Wednesday.

“The performance on Sunday showed the maturation of the players as individuals but more as a team,” said Jones.

“They settled down after the first quarter and played the way they need to play to win games and it was really pleasing.

“Sheffield have been extremely consistent all season and they are playing some really good basketball and they play so tough on both ends of the floor, so it should be a walk in the park!”
