London led 20-14 after a quarter and 40-33 at half-time. But, despite getting within three points of their rivals, a poor third quarter derailed the Giants’ chase.

Just nine points in the period saw them slip further behind at 64-42 going into the final quarter.

Jerelle Okoro hit 11 points for the Giants while Rashad Hassan had 22 points and 10 rebounds as the visitors stand-out.

The Giants face Worcester next Sunday and there will be a Halloween theme. Anyone turning up in fancy dress can get discounted entry when paying at the door – £5 for adults and £3 for children.
