The Giants were hit with a second-half barrage on their return to the Copper Box.
Danny Byrne’s men gave the BBL leaders a run for their money in the first half in the capital.
They recovered from a slow start with a huge second quarter to turn an eight-point deficit into an eight-point lead at the half.
However, the Lions dominated the third period, holding the Giants to just 10 points as they regained control of the contest and never looked back.
The Giants ran out of gas as the home team ran away with the game and the win.
