Despite a bright opening, a third quarter beset by turnovers and and offensive stagnation undid Yorick Williams’ men.
They started well, taking the first quarter 28-22 as both teams scored freely.
Wolves edged into a 43-42 half-time lead and grabbed hold of the game in the third as Danny Huffor got going.
He top scored with dangerous big man Maurice Walker – both men claiming 23 – as the Giants were squeezed out of it.
Callum Jones led the Giants’ charge with 18 points while Sam Toluwase and Jerelle Okoro had 16 and 14 resepctively.
Turnovers hurt the visitors with 21 Wolves points comingfrom 24 times the Giants lost the ball.
It leaves them with a 4-18 record in the BBL.
