Greek swingman Traianos joined the Giants ahead of the 2016/17 season and had a memorable impact on the famous win at Worcester Wolves in his first season, landing three crucial three-pointers as the Giants fought back from seven points down in the final minute to win on the buzzer.
Before coming to Manchester, Traianos had played as a professional in his homeland since 2007 for a number of teams, including in his native Thessaloniki.
In his younger days, Traianos represented Greece at Under 20 level, and played for A2 outfit AE Doxa Lefkadas before coming to the UK.
He combines playing professionally for the Giants with studying Sport Development & Coaching at the University of Bolton, the club’s main sponsor.
